CSEMIS Program Information

Program Purpose
To establish a meaningful standard that defines Excellence in Minimally
Invasive Surgical Care as a function of the skill and experience of the
General Surgeon Specialists, as performed within an appropriate and
efficient surgical facility. This certification process requires continuous
monitoring of the clinical outcomes to ensure that the General Surgeon
Specialists and Surgical Facilities together offer excellence in the
performance of Minimally Invasive Surgical Procedures.
